Great Digi-Trainer (2010-06-09)
I finally decided I needed to get back into shape. My wife surprised me with this fine item. Took some time to get used to it, especially since I am coming from a regular watch that I've used for years.
My only real grip with the watch is that the big blue button at the bottom of the face sticks out too far. I used to wear my watch so the face was on the inside of my wrist. However, that always caused the time zone to change to my 2nd time zone. I use 2 time zones, due to being in the military. I found the watch beeping at me and realized that I was constantly changing the time zone.
I now wear the watch face up, but I still have the same issue occasionally.
Otherwise, it's a great product, once you get learned with it.
Good Training Tool - Need the Computer Link & Program (2010-06-08)
This watch is excellent and easy to use but not as effective without the computer link and the software that comes with it. I ended up purchasing the Timex data xchager after I purchased the watch so my recommendation is buy the package together as it is much less expensive that way. The watch is attractive, the buttons easy to read and use, the software and program are excellent. I have used it in all of my workouts since I purchased it helps me to maintain the optimal training zone and track my workouts. I have a PC, so no comment on the compatability with Mac software. Read the reviews of the package together to fully assess the product. I am very pleased thus far.
Timex Ironman is pretty cool (2010-06-07)
I really like this HRM - I wear it everytime I workout which is every day. The monitor that goes around your chest is very comfortable, I never notice that it is on. I started the C25K & was glad this watch had the intervals where I could set the times when I'm to change from walking to running. The booklet that came with it is very helpful. I use the middle hole on the watch & I'm an average size ladies wrist so it probably would fit anyone.
The only thing I don't like about it is I thought it would show my calories burned.
Good product... (2010-05-19)
Far better value than Polar's, the strap monitor is comfortable and the watch itself looks nice, very accurate readings also. The watch has a lot of features that I do not use, but it's nice to have them if later on you want to use them.
Definitively recommended.
A great heart rate monitor watch (2010-05-09)
I bought this to replace the omrion HRM I had purchased last year here on Amazon. This watch had all the bells and whistles I wanted to continue tracking my running and general fitness. It is a great watch for everything I use it for. I also use a few online tracking websites that let me enter my information from the watch right after I am done working out.
