Great Watch!! (2010-04-28)
I've been wearing this model of Timex watch for many years. It looks nice yet is rugged enough to withstand the trials of work in the garage, garden, workshop or the boat. I have two designer Seiko watches setting in my dresser that I planned to wear during special occasions. However, they never leave the drawer. Yes, I'm very pleased with this product. A word of caution for anyone considering this item... It is a little smaller than my previous watches. It is perfect for my wrist, but may be too small for a larger man.
Small and light (2010-01-10)
I'm female and over 40. I purchased this watch for myself to replace my beloved Timex Performance Monitor. The resin band on my old watch was about to break and I couldn't find a new band for it, so I bought this watch by mail order because it had a metal band. I was completely delighted when it arrived because its much lighter and smaller than I expected. And even though the watch itself is small, the numbers on the face are easy to read. Its perfect for a lady's sport watch. For a man, maybe not so much. It has a lot of great function and is a perfect replacement for my old watch. I especially like the multiple alarms and time zones.
After reading the other reviews, I'll try to be careful with the band.
Bracelet smaller than expected (2009-11-10)
While this watch is as well made as any Timex we've ever had, the watchband really is as decribed. It looks like a men's bracelet. It isn't as wide as other Timex Ironman watches with a metal band. It was a little off-putting at first because my husband didn't think it was manly enough. He's fine with it now.
