This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

An excellent all-around watch (2010-07-27)
I hadn't worn a watch for several years. I purchased this one with the idea of using it to time my walks, hikes and bike rides for cardio purposes. I've found, however, that I am wearing it on a more regular basis and it's been what I've wanted and then some.
The watch is made well, the functions that I have used have been excellent and nothing seems to be bad with it. The build seems solid. I've dinged it several times and nothing has happened to the watch.
Everything is easy to use when it's on your wrist. Though I'm still learning all the functions and what button does what, I've found that it's easy to get back to square one if you need to start over.
I'd highly recommend this watch to others who are looking for an all-purpose watch to do several things.
Good Value, easy to use (2010-05-22)
This watch lasted me 10 months of a fairly hard lifestyle. I never took it off, and constantly worked out, swam, surfed, traveled, backpacked, etc. The multiple "occasion" alarms were nice, and the watch is intuitive and easy to learn (I never read the manual).
After 10 months, what finally killed this watch was a tough day surfing. For some reason, it just couldn't take the cold water and waves constantly bashing me. Here's the thing: I'm going to buy another one without any hesitation, because the thing is so cheap! Next time, though, I'll leave it in the car for my surf sessions.

Ironman watch (2009-12-28)
The watch does what it is supposed to. I wish it had a regular timer also. My mistake not reading all the specs before purchasing.
